Welcome to “Project LANA.” Named so to honor the final Naturally Aspirated Si engine (As for now at least). Each and every single MotorLogik car gets built for a purpose. We place our focus on key aspects of performance and prioritize reliablity, handling, and overall pure thrill in that order. From brakes to bolts, mounts to fluids, tires to suspension, everything in this vehicle is brand new and tested for months before finalizing the proper setup which provides perfect daily comfort while maintaining the ability to hold its own in your local AUTO X or spirited canyon drives. Every part was specially selected for optimal performance, complimenting the synced parts, showing true balance. These cars are not only professionally dialed in with perfect suspension setups but also leave some room for further tinkering by providing adjustable components on your suspension, allowing you to fine tune to your driving style. All parts used are high quality Japanese/European items meeting or exceeding all road demands. In short, this is our version of what we call the perfect street fighter!

Our next car is a 2015 Subaru BRZ named “Project Equilibrium”. The name for this project was a result of this unprecedented global pandemic and endless hurdles along the path. The project pulled through, once again representing what it means for us and our supporters.  This vehicle was acquired from Toyota as a trade in while under factory warranty and had a full inspection performed by DCH Subaru. Our ultimate goal with this car was to increase the character and driving experience as much as possible without being uncomfortable to be driven daily on city streets. To achieve this, MotorLogik has added new lightweight parts, front and rear brake upgrades, new high-performance fluids from the engine all the way to the differential, full geometry balance and aggressive alignment for canyon runs, track days and city streets. We have also added lightweight wheels and upgraded tires in order to make this a fun, reliable, turnkey ride for automotive enthusiasts. MotorLogik also offers an extended warranty for added peace of mind- something not available anywhere else on pre-owned modified vehicles.

Project Vision was our shop enhanced F87 M2C, chasing to refine OEM+ gear as much as possible while retaining street friendly manners. Our goal was to extract the best out of the car without adding additional power or sacrificing driving dynamics. M2C comes pretty strong right out of the box and as much as some folks argue about the car being too stiff, it worked perfectly in our case with the right alignment and tire track width.

We started with Gloc brake pads paired with some SS lines and castrol SRF fluid, added Millway camber plates due to lack of front camber adjustment. Street variant camber plates were able to get us just about the right amount of track camber without harsh noises that a few users complained about with other brands. Light weight wheels from APEX complemented the body lines well and enabled us to fit 265s upfront and 295s in the rear with zero body modifications. Some carbon ground effects were added to complete the package and on it went to track testing. Ceramic coating and Paint protection film applied to keep the body mint.

If we are limited to owning just one car, it would be M2C as the ultimate all rounder.

Project E3, short for ENTRY 3, is an entry level, daily focused vehicle built for our return customer. The goal was to keep 30+ mpg on highways, while being able to carve canyons as well as attend local AutoX invites without having to swap vehicles.

All MotorLogik vehicles undergo a procedure we like to call stage Zero. Meaning all the fluids and ignition components are swapped to new units. We removed some unnecessary weight without effecting sound deadening and daily comfort. Vehicle rides on quality fine tuned Bilstein coilovers with upgraded sway bars. Brakes were addressed as well by running aggressive yet street friendly compounds. Custom brake ducting was added to keep the temps under control. Upgraded lower arms in the rear allowed us to fine tune the alignment for mild aggressive street/canyon driving. This project being the 3rd one for our customer came with a special request to keep the Sparco wheel design alive.

Project Torch driven from its paint code “Torch Red” was one of the best FR chassis layout we ever acquired. So much so, the entire purpose of this vehicle wasn’t to ruin its potential by experimenting, instead, learn from it and apply to lower tier cars.

The car was overbuilt for track duty from the factory, so there wasn’t much needed. We did find some items that could be improved so we attempted the fix. We started with fresh fluids after vehicle break in period. Factory brake fluid comes dot 3, so we needed an excuse to switch to dot4 660 fluid. Hawk DTC track pads with SS lines made the already strong brake system even more aggressive. Under load, we noticed stock shifter could be a little better, so we added LG motorsports short shift kit with competition knob. Further digging into GM bin, we found additional front brake cooling ducts and rotor rings allowing even higher heat transfer. Corsa Helix Xpipe retained oem NPP exhaust while adding higher pitch on the upper rpm band.  Vehicle was corner balanced on stock OEM lowering bolts. Apex light wheels in 19s paired with massive Supercar 3(220TW) 305 fronts and a 325 rear transformed the front turn in. Another thing to note was the track alignment recommended by GM. It may have worked for majority users but our pyrometer and driving style indicated we needed tad bit more on the negative side upfront. OEM stage 3 aero front winglets and rear flap checked the final box. Ceramic coating and Paint protection film applied to keep the body mint. Vehicle ended up 3rd place in modified class for Wilwood Cup Challenge, even tho points indicated we were supposed to be in street class.

Project F30  required a very unique approach to building something nice and plush for daily comfort, yet an entry to learning 101 of Auto-X and HPDE. The purpose of this car was to be beginner friendly in every possible way. The owner would learn on this vehicle and once enough seat time was achieved, the car would serve as a refined daily driver.

We started with our typical Stage Zero. Extensive maintenance being top priority, all fluids were changed with higher tier. Plugs, coils, gaskets, seals, transmission filter, diff fluid, radiator fluid to name a few. Once sorted, our project was updated with a larger core radiator, inter-cooler and all necessary plumbing/tubing with new clamps. Slight modification to OEM exhaust while retaining the original valves for noise control. F30s have surprisingly well chassis balance, however, they tend to be on the soft side. We added adjustable german build coilovers to retain street comfort when needed, sway bars were paired with the right size and stiffness to work in respect to the new components. 

Stock front camber is not adjustable so Millway camber plates were added to fine tune our custom alignment specs. We improved the brake cooling with some custom duct work as well as upgraded brake pads, rotors, SS lines and fluid. 18″ wheels fitted, complimenting the body while carefully selecting a UHP tire to perform dual duty. Aero and asthetic was the final touch with projector headlamps, and a full ground effect kit. Ceramic coating and Paint protection film applied to keep the body mint.

Welcome to our M235i coded RE36. The idea is simple, a modern iteration of the iconic E36. This will be our max street version of a fully track capable machine. We started with a well sorted great service history M235i with M-LSD as our base platform. We started with our typical Stage Zero. Extensive maintenance being top priority, all fluids were changed with higher tier. Plugs, coils, gaskets, seals, transmission filter, diff fluid, radiator fluid to name a few. Further more, we upgraded the transmission pan with an aluminum unit for better heat management as well as installed a baffle kit for better oil conditions during track events. 

Once sorted, our project was updated with a larger core radiator, inter-cooler and all necessary plumbing/tubing with new clamps. This time we opted for Ohlins R&T for our suspension paired with Dinan sway bars. All of the subframe and diff bushings were replaced with heavy duty Poly race bushings, however, NVH was barely introduced in the cabin. Millway camber plates were added to fine tune our custom alignment specs. Project was corner balanced after the entire suspension swap. 

We improved the brake cooling with some custom duct work as well as upgraded brake pads, rotors, SS lines and fluid. 18″ wheels fitted, complimenting the body while carefully selecting a 200TW tire for weekend track duty. Ceramic coating and some Paint protection film applied to keep the body mint. A nice finishing touch by adding AWE exhaust for a lovely exhaust note. Canyon or track days, RE36 was designed to show the ultimate balance in driving experience.
